Gas prices in Massachusetts are down two cents from last week, according to AAA Northeast.

“The supply disruptions and higher prices in mid-Atlantic and southern states caused by Colonial Pipeline leak did not impact New England. Prices locally have been somewhat steady since August, good news for travelers planning to drive to their Fall destinations,”  said Mary Maguire, Director of Public and Legislative Affairs for AAA Northeast

AAA's September 26 survey of prices in Massachusetts  finds self-serve regular unleaded averaging $2.08 per gallon.

That price is 13 cents below the national average for regular unleaded of $2.21 and six cents higher than a year ago at this time.
