VegWorcester Set to Host Annual Vegan Mac & Cheese Cook-Off

VegWorcester is set to host their annual Mac Daddy: 2018 Vegan Mac & Cheese Cook-Off.

The event will take place on Saturday, January 27 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Technocopia in Worcester.

The Competition

The contest begins at 6 p.m., but all competitors must bring their entries by 5:30 p.m.

The competition rules are as follows:

  • All dishes must be vegan — that means no dairy, meat, eggs, or other animal products. 
  • Each dish must include two components: (1) pasta of some size and shape and (2) a "cheezy" sauce. Only one entry per person or group.
  • Bring enough to taste-test and enough to share, and also bring your own serving utensils, utensils, and plates for green's sake. 
  • Dishes must be ready to eat. No on-site heating or cooking possible.
