Toby
I have been here before but now I am back in an even better version of me. Hi! My name is Toby. I am a 2-year-old lab retriever mix and weigh in at around 32 lbs. If you like Labs but don't have the space for a full-size version, I am the perfect size. When I was here before, I had some problems. I had luxating patellas (aka wobbly kneecaps). Orthopedic surgery is expensive so that caused some people to shy away from adopting me. The good news is that now my orthopedic problems are over. I have had surgery to stabilize both kneecaps and am better than new! I can run, jump and do my happy dance pain-free. Aside from being a really handsome guy, I am sweet and love other dogs.

Sherlock
Sherlock is about six years old and 19 pounds. He is a doggie who needs a special someone to love him as he is. Could you be his Watson?
Sherlock is a low key and easy dog to care for. However, like every animal, he does have his quirks. Read on to see if you could be Sherlock's partner-in-crime! -
Minnie
Meet Minnie! This cute little nugget is around 12 years old and weighs in at around 10 pounds. She is housebroken, crate trained, and knows how to use a doggie door.
LIKES
* Showing her excitement loudly when you come home!
* Jumping on the back of your legs to get attention.
* Spinning around in a circle when you ask if she wants to go out.
* Sitting in your lap or next to you.

Luna
Luna is a gentle giant. She is an 8 year old Shepard Malamute mix and weighs 89lbs! She has hypothyroidism that was left untreated and as a result has hair loss and skin infections. She is now on thyroid meds and medicated baths every other day and is expected to make a full recovery given time and proper treatment.
Luna is still pretty uncomfortable due to her skin infections, but her foster family is starting to see her playful personality emerge. She loves her tennis ball and will bring it to you to play. She has lived with children, cats and other dogs in the past. She craves human attention and would love to have her very own stay-at-home human to keep her company. Luna does not use a crate and prefers to have full access to her home. She is very well behaved so it is safe to let her roam when no one is home. -
Buddy
Buddy is a five month old puppy who currently weighs in around 28 pounds.
He's a mix of "we don't know what, your guess is as good as ours". He does awesome with his crate training and loves to play with other dogs. Buddy thinks he's a lap dog and loves cuddles!
A recent home of his had kids who harassed him a bit too much so he can be a little leery of kids. We feel that he can still go to a home with dog-savvy kids who are patient and kind - though a home without kids is just fine too. We fully expect adopters of Buddy to enroll in a formal training class with him to help cement the human/dog bond and to help develop Buddy into the best dog possible. -
Icee
Icee is a sweet torbie girl who's friendly, enjoys attention, and can't wait to meet her new purrson so she can get started on a new life of shared love, cuddles, and companionship.
-
Winston
Meet Winston -- a handsome brown tabby with beautiful markings who is also a loyal, devoted, and wonderful companion. This special boy is around a year and a half old.
-
Elsa
Meet Elsa -- a friendly five old tortie girl and brindled beauty who is mellow, affectionate, and funny.
She will either be right up next to you (or on top of you!), cuddling, purring, and meowing for pets, or is perfectly content hanging out hiding under a couch or in a closet -- but not because she's scared. She readily comes out of her own volition. -
Allie
Allie is kind of a diva in the best way possible. She is very curious- she likes to follow you around the house and prefers affection in small doses. She is on the smaller side with a beautiful, soft calico coat that barely sheds.
Allie may be twelve but she looks and acts like a five year old! She is always bouncing around, exploring boxes, hiding under blankets and making herself little nests on the couch.

Peter
Peter is a one year old domestic long hair that is currently being fostered in Cambridge. Peter is a shy cat, who was initially brought into the rescue from a hoarding situation, so he is still learning to come out of his shell. He absolutely loves other cats, and needs a home with a friendly resident cat who can show him the ropes.
Peter's favorite thing to do is lounge in the sun, and he will happily find a warm spot to lay in for most the day. He is very food motivated, and loves treats. While he is nervous, he has really blossomed in his foster home, and now wanders around and plays with his foster brother cat out in the open.
