-
Floyd
Attention Lab Lovers, this one’s for you. Meet Floyd, a typical young adult (6 years old) Labrador Retriever weighing in at 60+ pounds filled with energy and love. He’s a bit naughty and very nice.
Floyd is house trained, crate trained and friendly. He loves people and a good game of fetch. Like many Labrador Retrievers, he’s a counter surfer and will help himself to whatever you leave out. Floyd recently underwent surgery to remove a food waste item that created an obstruction.
-
Curl
Curl is a small chihuahua who loves to cuddle! He is house trained and good with other dogs, cats, and most people. He is currently around 8lbs of pure love and snuggles! He can get nervous around strangers, especially men, but does warm up eventually.
-
Darby
Darby is a handsome, super sweet mixed breed with a great personality. He is 5 years old but you would never know as he doesn’t look a day over 3…at least that’s what he will tell you! Darby is a perfect size weighing in at around 40 pounds, ideal for sharing forts in the backyard for scheming summer shenanigans.
-
Rebecca
Rebecca is a gorgeous adult female chihuahua who is 8-10 years old who is good with dogs and children. For her age, she is very peppy. Her dream home would have a fenced in yard so she could trot and prance around and run very fast!
She is a snuggle bug and snuggles on the couch! She is extremely friendly and very gentle - making her great with children. -
Wally
Wally is a 9 pound little chihuahua with a lot of love to give. Wally is house trained and does well in his crate while his foster parents are away from home. Wally loves playing with the other 4 dogs in the house above all else. He absolutely loves other dogs and will play endlessly!
Zoomies around the yard and playing 'chase' is when Wally is at his happiest. He would be a perfect addition to another pack of smaller dogs. He fit right in with his current foster brothers and sisters no problem. -
Cornbread
Cornbread is a wonderful and amicable cat who'd love nothing more than to spend the entire day by your side the minute you take him home! A polite and well-behaved eight-year-old adult cat, Cornbread is a mellow companion who does not have high energy requirements and loves to chill next to you--though he still has a kittenish disposition when it comes to playing! He has a wealth of affection to give, and would love to show you his many quirks--like yawning with his big toothless mouth or gently tapping your arm when he wants to be pet.
-
Hazel
Hazel is a gorgeous medium-haired tabby girl, about 2 years old, who's content to quietly observe from the back of her cage while she acclimates to the Adoption Center. When she's feeling comfortable, Hazel is typically easygoing and enjoys face scritches. Hazel and her best friend Myrtle were rescued together in Somerville, are bonded, and would love to find a home together.
-
Allie
Alliby (AKA Allie) is a wonderful gorgeous little kitty. She is very curious and she loves to follow you around the house. She loves affection and is very friendly.
She is on the smaller side with a beautiful, soft calico coat that barely sheds. -
Trooper
Trooper is a 5 year old kitty who is very friendly and loving. He is a surrender to us from a home. He would do best in a home as an only kitty where he can lounge and love his family lots.
If you are interested in finding out more about Trooper, please fill out an application on our website - brokentailrescue.org/adoption-application. -
Maisel
Mrs. Maisel is a 14 year old beautiful all black lady. She unexpectedly found herself in foster care and is slowly learning to trust the new and strange humans caring for her. She is very hopeful for a forever home where she can comfortably live out her remaining years. Are you the patient adopter Mrs. Maisel is hoping for?
Mrs. Maisel has hyperthyroidism that is controlled by a medication that she easily takes twice daily in a pill pocket. She also needs prescription Kidney Care k/d food.
