-
Lucky Duck
I know the luck of the Irish will work its magic on me. After all, with a name like Lucky and St. Patrick's Day around the corner, I know I'll find my forever home soon. My needs are simple and few. I'm looking for a single female to share her home and heart with me forever.
-
Jonah
My name is Jonah. I am a medium sized guy who needs some good meals to add a little more bulk to my undernourished frame. I am wicked handsome and love people. When I ride in the car I like to rest my head on your shoulder. If you will let me ride shotgun, I will be only too happy to oblige. I am estimated to be about one year old and I have loads of puppy energy. I would love an active family . Hiking or jogging would be right up my alley. I enjoy a good game of tug and love chew toys. I know some basic commands (Sit, paw, come, down) but will need more training to learn not to jump up on people and walk nicely on a leash. Because I am exuberant, I would not be a good fit for a home with young kids. I would never intentionally hurt anyone but I am strong and don't know my own strength.

Simba
My name is Simba, and I’m looking for a quiet household to call home! I came from living with the same nice man my entire life, but when he became hospitalized for a long-term illness, he sadly had to ask Broken Tail Rescue to find me a new family.
-
Teddy
Teddy is a 3-4 year old male Pomeranian mix. He weighs about 13 lbs. He came to rescue from a local animal control and is doing great in foster care! Teddy loves his foster mom and begs her for pets. It's never enough! When he was taken in by animal control he was really matted on his back end which caused some inflammation. Due to this (we believe) he has some sensitivity around his back end, though he has an anti-inflammatory injection on board which is helping. We are hoping that time, a healthy diet and some love in his foster home will help him to make progress. He is timid around other dogs, and due to his sensitivity we are going to require an adult only home. Teddy feels safe in his crate. He is a quiet dog and makes quite the easy keeper!

Sadie
My name is Sadie and I am about 5 years old. I’m a pittie mix (I think!) and really want to be your new best friend. I’m up to date on all my vaccinations, including heart worm and flea/tick and I’m already spayed.
I do OK with dog saavy cats and I’m ok with other dogs that live in my foster home. I'm still learning how to play but I have so much energy and really want to be on the trails, out running, or going on adventures! The couch might be my new favorite place when I'm in the house though! -
Ellie
Meet Ellie! A sweet, friendly, black and white 1-2 year old girl who would love to be your best feline friend forever.
-
Cecilia
Cecilia is a beautiful gray tabby, about 2 years old, who's initially shy but warms up to pets and cheek scritches.
-
Allie
Allie is kind of a diva in the best way possible. She is very curious- she likes to follow you around the house and prefers affection in small doses. She is on the smaller side with a beautiful, soft calico coat that barely sheds.
Allie may be twelve but she looks and acts like a five year old! She is always bouncing around, exploring boxes, hiding under blankets and making herself little nests on the couch. -
Sophie
Sophie is a black and white female who was surrendered with her brother, Scottie (also black and white).
Sophie and Scottie are gentle cats who were initially shy in the Adoption Center. Now that they've moved to a homier environment with a foster mom and a couple of resident cat siblings to show them the ropes, they are blossoming into happy, loving kitties who like to chase and play. Sophie also likes to roll over for belly rubs and Scottie is a lovebug! -
Puddy
My name's Puddy. That's Puddy like Puddy-Tat or Puddy like clay, you choose. I answer to both!
I lost my previous home because my owner passed away. It's been a sad time for me, but things are looking up now that I have a new foster home to explore and my purr is back! I just love people! I also love being petted and as you can see, I like to lean my whole body into neck scritches. I think I might like to cuddle, too. Oh, and I'm 8 years young!
