|Lorenzo and others are in need of loving homes|
If you're on the lookout for a new pet for you or your family, look no further.
Whether you want a dog, a cat, or even a furry little friend to complete your home, think adoption first! There are hundreds of lovable pets just waiting for you to take them home in rescue leagues and shelters everywhere.
Check out these 10 pets available for adoption from Broken Tail Rescue, below
I’m so happy to meet you! My name is Mason and I am a happy, energetic 6 year old, 68 lb. neutered, goofy and loving male Redbone Coonhound mix. I am content to spend most of my days snoozing on my cot or lounging out in the sun, but I also love nightly back rubs and attention from my humans.
My name is Lucky, and I'm a jerk. A lovable jerk, but still a jerk. Until we get to know each other, that is. Then I am the most wonderful, face-licking, couch-cuddling dog you've ever met!
I'm about 3 years old, and I love what most 3 year old dogs love... food, going for walks (short or long!), treats, lying in the sun, looking at the world through the window near the couch, cuddling with my foster mama. I'm allergic to something - we're still trying to figure out what - which makes my skin super-itchy. I'm on grain-free food with a fish oil supplement, and that's been helping quite a bit (as well as scratches from my foster mama).
I am Jackson, a 4 year old American Staffordshire Terrier. I have been DNA tested and am 100% pure Staffie. I have a handsome brindle coat and am described as a very loving boy.
Meet Lorenzo, a two-year-old adorable stocky Puggle weighing around 18 pounds. Lorenzo came into Rescue because his family's housing situation changed.
Lorenzo has been around children since he was 14 weeks old. He's adjusted well to his foster and enjoys playing with the resident dog and snuggling with his foster family.
Mr. W is a Carin Terrier mix with many of the redeeming qualities only a Terrier lover can appreciate. Mr. W's estimated age is between 6 and 8 years old. He weighs 18 pounds and he's house trained. His backstory prior to being found in the streets of Northern Massachusetts is unknown. Since coming into rescue a number of medical issues have been addressed. Mr. W's temperament can be described as cranky.
Earl is the sweetest cat around and is estimated to be about 7 years old. He enjoys gazing out the window and sleeping at the foot of your bed. He loves nothing more than to get head and chin scratches and if you scratch his upper shoulders you’ll get to hear his nice low rumble of a purr that doesn't stop! Once you get Earl purring from pets and scratches he will usually beg for more!
Isabelle has the softest coat you've ever felt! Her soft fur has shades of gray, brown and white.
This pretty seven year-old girl is a little bit shy and needs to be in a home where she can be the only pet. Isabelle enjoys people and loves being petted, especially with a wooden back scratcher. Isabelle also loves catnip!
Strudel is a 6 month old kitten.
Strudel was found as a stray as a young kitten with his sister Eclair by a kind stranger. After given a clean bill of health, they were brought to Broken Tail Rescue. Strudel and his sister were very nervous and were moved to a foster home.
Since August, Strudel and his sister have been in a foster home and working with a foster on their manners and social skills. Strudel is litter trained, has learned how to play with toys, learned furniture is great to lounge on, and windows are great to perch in. He is still very nervous around strangers and often is surprised by strange sounds.
Allie is kind of a diva in the best way possible. She is very curious- she likes to follow you around the house and prefers affection in small doses. She is on the smaller side with a beautiful, soft calico coat that barely sheds.
Allie may be twelve but she looks and acts like a five year old! She is always bouncing around, exploring boxes, hiding under blankets and making herself little nests on the couch.
Let this charming, quirky girl get to know you and become your lifelong friend!
Babs was surrendered by her previous owners when a relative moved into the house and was allergic to her. She is wonderfully playful and particularly loves her "bird-on-a-string" feather toy, and is not shy about showing it off! When around her favorite toy, she will go into an affectionate frenzy, rolling around, showing off her belly, and rubbing herself on her toy, your legs, and everything around you. She also loves treats!
