Mason
I’m so happy to meet you! My name is Mason and I am a happy, energetic 6 year old, 68 lb. neutered, goofy and loving male Redbone Coonhound mix. I am content to spend most of my days snoozing on my cot or lounging out in the sun, but I also love nightly back rubs and attention from my humans.

Lucky Duck
My name is Lucky, and I'm a jerk. A lovable jerk, but still a jerk. Until we get to know each other, that is. Then I am the most wonderful, face-licking, couch-cuddling dog you've ever met!
I'm about 3 years old, and I love what most 3 year old dogs love... food, going for walks (short or long!), treats, lying in the sun, looking at the world through the window near the couch, cuddling with my foster mama. I'm allergic to something - we're still trying to figure out what - which makes my skin super-itchy. I'm on grain-free food with a fish oil supplement, and that's been helping quite a bit (as well as scratches from my foster mama). -
Jackson
I am Jackson, a 4 year old American Staffordshire Terrier. I have been DNA tested and am 100% pure Staffie. I have a handsome brindle coat and am described as a very loving boy.

Tara Bella
My name is Tara Bella. Guesstimated to be between 3-6 years old and weighing in at 18 lbs, I am the perfect size for apartment living. When I was taken in by Broken Tail Rescue, I was not well. After a medical evaluation it was determined that I had meningitis. I am on daily medication now. I take my pills well. In fact, I love to eat so those pills are just another snack to me if you roll them up in something tasty. My gait is a little awkward due to neurological damage but I get around fine. I balance really nicely on my hind legs to do a happy dance and ask for pats.

Haley
Ready for a wiggly young companion to enjoy springtime with? Need a friend to practice for baseball season? Meet Haley, a 2 year old, 50 pound pittie mix who is ready to be your best friend!
Haley loves all people and is so smart she's hanging out at Harvard! Haley enjoys playing with toys, eating treats, and learning her leash manners. She would make a great companion for a family with kids 12 and older, as in her excitement for life she might knock down a younger child. Haley has lived with cats in her foster home, and while she's interested in them, her approach is curiosity. While Haley gets along with other dogs her preference is for them to have mellow personalities.
-
Earl
Earl is the sweetest cat around and is estimated to be about 7 years old. He enjoys gazing out the window and sleeping at the foot of your bed. He loves nothing more than to get head and chin scratches and if you scratch his upper shoulders you’ll get to hear his nice low rumble of a purr that doesn't stop! Once you get Earl purring from pets and scratches he will usually beg for more!
-
Isabelle
Isabelle has the softest coat you've ever felt! Her soft fur has shades of gray, brown and white.
This pretty seven year-old girl is a little bit shy and needs to be in a home where she can be the only pet. Isabelle enjoys people and loves being petted, especially with a wooden back scratcher. Isabelle also loves catnip! -
Ferdinand
Ferdinand is a big, sweet boy who's shy at first and is just learning to play and have fun. Can you continue teaching him how great people are? Once he becomes comfortable with a person, he loves getting cheek scratches and pets and he loves being currycombed with a rubber brush. Something happened to his tail - he only has one-half of it- but we think it just makes him cuter!
-
Olivia
Olivia is a 5 year old girl who was found running around on snowbanks in Everett.
She is a "Purrfect" lap cat. She can be very shy and defensive in the beginning, but once she gets comfortable with you, she will snuggle up with you all the time. She will rub herself against you nonstop and follow you around to express how much she appreciates your company. She loves to roll around and sleep next her human. -
Strudel
Strudel is a 6 month old kitten.
Strudel was found as a stray as a young kitten with his sister Eclair by a kind stranger. After given a clean bill of health, they were brought to Broken Tail Rescue. Strudel and his sister were very nervous and were moved to a foster home.
Since August, Strudel and his sister have been in a foster home and working with a foster on their manners and social skills. Strudel is litter trained, has learned how to play with toys, learned furniture is great to lounge on, and windows are great to perch in. He is still very nervous around strangers and often is surprised by strange sounds.
