Militia Weekend at Old Sturbridge Village
There is plenty going on around Worcester to keep you busy this Labor Day weekend. From live music to art and more, there are events for all ages. 

This weekend’s events include the Us Exhibit at Sprinkler Factory, Attack of the Bloodsuckers at EcoTarium and Militia Weekend at Old Sturbridge Village.

    The Drunken Uncles will kick off Labor Day weekend with a concert at Padavano's.

    Free Fun Friday at the Museum of Russian Icons

    The Museum will open an hour early, at 10 a.m., on this special day.

    We’ll have docent-led tours, crafts and Russian games, a sale in the Museum Store, Russian snacks for sale, and tons of fun!

    Militia Weekend at Old Sturbridge Village 

    This weekend is Militia Weekend at Old Sturbridge Village. 

    Labor Day weekend will feature all the sights and sounds of the training days that these companies took part in at least twice a year. The days’ events will include everything from cannon and musket demonstrations, to martial music and sham battles, and even live firing of muskets at targets.
