This weekend’s events include Architecture in Motion at Hanover Theatre, Flora in Winter at the Worcester Art Museum, live music from Pink Talking Fish and more.

    Pink Talking Fish at the Palladium

    The Pink Floyd, Talking Head, and Phish cover band Pink Talking Fish is set to play the Palladium in Worcester as part of their Winter Tour.

    Pink Talking Fish is a Hybrid Tribute Fusion Act that takes the music from three of the world's most beloved bands and creates a special treat for fans of the music.

    Pink Floyd, The Talking Heads, and Phish are all more than just bands... they are Phenomenons.  Their creations have artistically inspired people and their mind-blowing live performances have brought people together to form a special sense of community around the love for their favorite band.

    Water Lilies to Waterloo: An Evening of Monet and Flowers at Worcester Art Museum 

    Join us for a sumptuous celebration of both Flora in Winter and the opening of the exhibition, Monet's Waterloo Bridge: Vision and Process with a fusion of color, light, flowers, and art.

    The festivities include entertainment, hearty hors d'oeuvres, and cash bar. Valet available at the Lancaster Street entrance for $5 per car. Tickets  on sale now.

    The event goes from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

    Jompathon 2019 at Joy of Music ~ Joseph and Jordan Shapiro Concert Hall

    This marathon student recital is a wonderful and uplifting celebration of the school's mission "to enrich lives and foster community through accessible music education and performance."

    The event goes from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

    Flora in Winter at Worcester Art Museum 

    Leave the winter cold outside and treat yourself to color and fragrance during WAM's annual floral extravaganza when the entire Museum blooms with flower arrangements inspired by works of art.

    The region's top floral designers interpret paintings, sculpture, and other works with imaginative arrangements that both dazzle and delight! Demonstrations, lectures, guided tours, and activities for children also take place throughout Flora in Winter.

    It is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

    DIAVOLO - Architecture in Motion at Hanover Theatre

    Seen by over 95 million people as one of the top 10 finalists on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent,” Diavolo shatters boundaries and soars beyond the grasps of gravity. The Los Angeles-based dance company continues to push a new edge of performance with the inventive and ingenious Jacques Heim at the helm.

    The program includes Diavolo’s signature work “Trajectoire” and their latest work, “Voyage,” featuring the meticulously designed architectural structures that have become Diavolo’s hallmark.

    Navy vs Holy Cross Basketball 

    The Holy Cross Crusaders return to the Hart Center to host Navy on Saturday afternoon. 

    Holy Cross is 11-9 overall and 2-5 in conference play.

    Adirondack Thunder vs Worcester Railers at DCU Center

    The Worcester Railers return to the DCU Center to host the second-lace Adirondack Thunder on Saturday night. 

    The Railers are currently 17-17-3 on the season.

    Ice Skating at Worcester Common Oval 

    The ice rink at Worcester Common Oval is now open for skating. 

    Embrace the cold by lacing up your skates and get a couple of laps in. 

    Ice skating is available through February 24 on Fridays from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m.
