School is back in session in Worcester, but it is Labor Day weekend and there are plenty of fun events to get involved with over the long weekend.
This weekend's events include Militia Weekend at Old Sturbridge Village, Punk 2017 at The Cove Music Hall and much more.

Friday Farmer's Market at Worcester Common
Check out the Friday farmers market located at Worcester Common.
Options include fruits, veggies, herbs, meats, eggs, honey, soaps, and much more
The market is open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Lavender Restaurant Karaoke
Spend your Friday night at Lavender Restaurant belting out some of your favorite songs.
Karaoke goes from 9:30 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Dick Doherty's Beantown Comedy Escape at Park Grill and Spirits
Head to Park Grill and Spirits for a night of laughter at Dick Doherty's Beantown Comedy Escape.
Friday's lineup includes comedians Dave Bulger and Dave Lamb among others.
The event goes from 8 p.m. to 12 a.m.
Punk 2017 at The Cove
Some of the best punk bands in the area come together at The Cove Music Hall for a night of music.
Bands include The Hangovers, Marko & The Bruisers, Gingerwulf, Sweet Babylon, Shore City, Micheal Kane & The Morning Afters, Toreba Spacedrift and After the Blackout(MA)
Punk 2017 runs from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Olympic Fencing Instruction at Worcester Fencing Club
Ever watch fencing on TV and think, "that's cool?"
Now is your chance to learn it yourself at the Worcester Fencing Club.
Seven-week sessions run until December 31.
Candlelight Restorative Yoga at Union Street Yoga
The first class is FREE.

Sunday Public Tour at Worcester Art Museum
Take a tour of the Worcester Art Museum and check out all the incredible works of art that it houses.
The tour begins in the Lancaster Welcome Center and is FREE with museum admission.
Militia Weekend at Old Sturbridge Village
The day's events at Old Sturbridge Village will include everything from cannon and musket demonstrations, to martial music and sham battles, and even live firing of muskets at targets.
The event goes from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Blue Mondays - Live Blues at Gardner Ale House
Enjoy live music at Gardner Ale House starting at 7 p.m. and going until 11 p.m.
