An opening reception will be held on Tuesday, April 2 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Franklin Square Salon Gallery at the Hanover Theatre.
Klausmeyer will give an artist talk that evening at 6:30 p.m.
This exhibition will be on view March 19 through July 10, 2019.
The Exhibit
In the exhibition, Klausmeyer juxtaposes modern techniques with vintage images to create pieces that provoke personal reaction and understanding.
Of the intention behind her work, the artist says "my hope is that through the combination of seemingly dissimilar images constructed in a provocative way, the viewer can use their imagination and interpret a meaning which is personal to them."
