July is here again, and that means it's just about time to celebrate the birth of our great nation. It's become a great tradition in America to celebrate with fireworks and parades, hamburgers and hot dogs.
Massachusetts, of course, has a special claim to this important holiday, as this is where the fires of the American Revolution first began to spark almost 240 years ago.
A number of towns and cities in Central Mass are once again putting on their very own celebrations, where attendees can enjoy and take part in various events that have become Independence Day staples. Here are a few you may want to check out.
Note: Many fireworks displays have rain dates. Make sure to check with each town for up to date information on cancellations and postponements.
