Wachusett High Senior Named Miss Massachusetts National Teenager

Princeton's Kelsey Henderson a senior at Wachusett Regional High School in Holden, was named Miss Massachusetts National Teenager at a regional competition in Vermont.

By winning the American National Teenager Scholarship Organization (ANTSO) regional competition, Henderson, who will attend Salem State University next year, will compete for the title of America’s National Teenager at the national competition July 22-28 in Nashville, Tenn.

“Over the weekend I got very close with some of the girls and made lifelong friends that will accompany me to Nationals,” said Henderson. “I was honored to have been chosen as the winner and to represent Massachusetts at Nationals in Nashville."

“I can’t thank everyone who supported me enough, and can’t wait for this amazing year ahead of me,” Henderson concluded.

“ANTSO was founded in 1970 upon the principles of celebrating a young woman’s smarts and big heart," said ANTSO CEO and Owner, Jenny Telwar. "Therefore, while the world around us has changed, our company has not. We still focus on the female’s academic potential, contribution to community, and the ideals and power that women have, at any age, to make a difference.”

Winners will walk away with more than $40,000 in scholarships for college along with various other prizes.
