12 Men Arrested During Prostitution Sting in Worcester

Worcester Police arrested 12 men during an undercover prostitution sting in the Main South area of Worcester on Wednesday.

The Sting

At approximately 7:49 p.m., one of the female decoy officers was approached by a man in a motor vehicle and offered to give her crack cocaine in exchange for sex. The man, identified as Carl Lokko, 36, of 33 Providence Street, Worcester, was subsequently placed under arrest for offering to engage in sex for a fee and for possession of class B substance.

At approximately 8:45 p.m., the same female officer was approached by a man, later identified as Michael Macdonald, 46,  of 14 Island Road, Webster, and offered to sell her some crack cocaine.

The officer agreed and gave MacDonald some money in exchange for the crack cocaine. After the transaction was made the female officer signaled to other nearby vice officers. Vice officers closed in on MacDonald but he attempted to run away.

After a short foot chase MacDonald was apprehended and placed under arrest.

MacDonald was charged with resisting arrest and Distribution of class B substance.

The Arrests

The sting operation arrested the following males for the charge of Offering to Engage in Sex for a Fee:

  • Jorge Garcia, 55-years-old of 27 Wyman Street, Worcester.
  • Luis Mercado, 39-years-old of 90 Ward Street, Worcester.
  • Daniel Fosu, 24-years-old of 1 Pilgrim Avenue, Worcester.
  • Christian Paredes, 34-years-old of 3 Whitman Road, Worcester.
  • Josue Reyes, 44-years-old of 45 Grand Street Court, Worcester.
  • Damon Gardner-Isles, 28-years-old of 17 King Street, Worcester.
  • Justin Brigham, 29-years-old of 41 May Street, Worcester.
  • Carlos Dones, 37-years-old of 97 Harrison Street, Worcester.
  • William Leavy, 62-years-old of 9 Chapelwood Road, Framingham.
  • Ted Chan, 50-years-old of 17 Greenview Drive, Holliston.
