15-Year-Old Girl Arrested After Breaking Into a Car in Worcester

A 15-year-old girl was arrested after breaking into a car in the area of Perry avenue.

She was charged with breaking into a motor vehicle. Her name will not be released.

She will be arraigned at the Worcester County District Courthouse on a date yet to be determined.

The Incident

On Saturday, October 7,  at approximately 6:00 p.m., Worcester Police responded to a Perry Avenue address for a report of someone breaking into a car. Responding officers were told that the owner of the car is outside the car with a female suspect. Upon the officers arrival they met with the victims.

According to the victims, a neighbor saw two young woman inside their car going through the interior and placing items inside a black bag. The victims exited their home and saw the two woman. One woman, dressed in all red, ran from the scene. A second woman stayed behind. The victims checked out their car and discovered several items missing.

While speaking with the female suspect, she denied taking anything from the car. The female stated to the officer that they can check her black bag that she was in possession of. Officers recovered several items inside the bag that belonged to the victims.

A search of the area for the second female suspect produced negative results.
