3 Arrested in Worcester for Trafficking Cocaine

Massachusetts State Police arrested three people in Worcester for being in possession of 1 kilogram of cocaine.
Cathia Gonzalez, 26 was charged with trafficking cocaine, conspiracy to violate drug law and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
Jose Martinez-Cepeda, 33, was charged with trafficking in cocaine, conspiracy to violate drug law, possession of a class B drug, possession of a class E drug.
Veronica Gonzalez-Acosta, 41, was charged with trafficking in cocaine and conspiracy to violate drug law.
The Incident
Yesterday afternoon, at approximately 3:00 p.m., troopers assigned to the Troop C Community Action Team, in partnership with the State Police Narcotics Section, DEA Worcester HIDTA and US Postal Inspection Service, as the result of an investigation, stopped a 2005 Acura on Belmont Street driven by Gonzalez, of Worcester.
Gonzalez has a suspended driver’s license.
As a result of the investigation, with the assistance of State Police K-9, GONZALEZ and two passengers, Martinez-Cepeda, 33, and Gonzalez-Acosta, 41, both of Worcester were found to be in possession of approximately 1 kilogram of narcotics, believed to be cocaine.
Martinez-Cepeda was also found to be in possession of 15 pills, believed to be a controlled Class-E substance. All three were placed under arrest.
