NEW: Second Worcester Man Indicted for Arson and Hatheway Missing Person Case

A second Worcester man has been indicted for the arson of 11 Dixfield Road and the related Sabrina Hatheway missing person case.

Scott Phelan, 29, of Millbury, was arraigned in Worcester County Superior Court on Wednesday morning for involvement in the house fire that occurred on January 1, 2015 on Dixfield Rd. in Worcester.

According to the Worcester County District Attorney's office, Phelan was indicted on charges of Arson of a Dwelling and Conspiracy.

Lionel Bermudez, 30, of Worcester is also listed in the indictment has a co-conspirator, but has yet to be arraigned. 

As GoLocal reported, the Dixfield Rd residence is the home of Kevin Crozier who was also recently indicted on charges of Arson of a Dwelling and Conspiracy on Monday morning.

Crozier is the ex-boyfriend of 23-year-old Hatheway who has been missing since December 20, 2014. According to the U.S. Department of Justice National Missing and Unidentified Persons System, Sabrina "was last seen with her ex-boyfriend whose house burned down January 1, 2015 and deemed arson."

Phelan has a list of arrests including in January when he was charged with possession of heroin and in 2008 when he was charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute while living in Worcester.

He was charged with driving with a suspended license in February 2013, and with possession of Percocet without a prescription last October.

Phelan is being held on $50,000 bail and his next court date is set for May 14.

Sabrina Hatheway is 23-years-old, 5'3" and 120 pounds, with dirty blonde/brown hair. If anyone has any information regarding Sabrina Hatheway, please contact the Worcester Police Detective Bureau at (508) 799-8651.
