Two Stabbed During Party Inside Worcester Apartment

The suspect is believed to have been a Hispanic Man, 5’6”, short hair, approximately 28-30 years old and wearing a blue shirt.
The investigation is ongoing.
On Thursday, July 5, at approximately 12:15 a.m., Worcester Police responded to 5 King Street for a report of a stabbing. Upon the officers arrival they met with a 19-year-old woman suffering from what appeared to be a serious stab wound. The woman was treated at the scene and transported to a local hospital.
Officers at the scene spoke with several witnesses. The officers were told that there was a party taking place and at one point an argument broke out which eventually led to people arming themselves with bats and knives. The escalated fight involved both men and women.
During the fight the woman was stabbed. The wound appeared serious due to the heavy bleeding.
WPD detectives were called to the scene. Members of the Crime Scene Unit arrived and secured the area. At this time officers came upon a 29-year-old man that arrived back at the location that was suffering from a stab wound. The man was very intoxicated and did not realize that he had been stabbed. The man stated that he left the party after the fight broke out and returned not too long after the police arrived.
The man was also transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Both victims were treated for injuries that were considered minor and subsequently released.
