A Worcester man was arrested after threatening employers and customers inside Kelley Square Pizza on Monday night.

Antonio Judd, 44, was charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, disorderly conduct, and trespassing.

No one was injured.

The Incident

On March 11 at about 7 p.m., Worcester Police officers were dispatched to Kelley Square Pizza for a report of a person with a gun making threats. Upon arrival, officers observed a male, later identified as Judd, of 36 Catharine St, being held down by and struggling with store employees. What appeared to be a small black handgun was on the ground next to Judd, and officers secured it.

Officers placed Judd in handcuffs and spoke with witnesses, who said that Judd was sitting in the restaurant for a long period of time without ordering anything.

At some points, Judd would lay on the floor in the restaurant. When he was asked to order something or leave, Judd became irate and began screaming at employees and calling them names. As employees approached Judd to escort him out of the restaurant, he said, “I’ve got something for you!” and began to take what looked like a black handgun from his waist.

Employees grabbed him to prevent him from taking out the gun, and a struggle ensued.

Officers determined that the item was a realistic-looking BB gun replica. Judd was placed under arrest for Assault with a Dangerous Weapon, Disorderly Conduct and Trespassing. He will be arraigned in Worcester District Court. No one present was injured.
