Worcester Man Stabbed in Head

Worcester Police are investigating the stabbing of a 36-year-old male victim that took place on Sunday, May 2 at approximately 2:52 a.m. on Endicott Street. The man suffered a wound to his head and is in stable condition at a local hospital. 

The investigation 

Police arrived at the scene and met with the victim who was suffering from a stab wound to his head. A friend of the victim was present at the scene and informed officers that the victim was stabbed while walking home. 

The witness stated that two males got into a verbal argument with them and at one point it turned physical. During the altercation the victim was stabbed on the top of his head.

After the fight ended the two suspects fled on Endicott Street heading towards Millbury Street. 

The suspects were described as two Hispanic males, both had short hair and both were wearing dark shirts and jeans. 

Officers established a crime scene in the area of 100 Endicott Street. The area was secured until the arrival of the Crime Scene Unit arrived and then processed the evidence. 

Members of the detective bureau arrived at the scene and took charge of the investigation. 

The victim was transported to a local hospital and is in stable condition.
