Worcester PD recognized with Above & Beyond Award

The Worcester Police Department was recognized with the Above and Beyond Award by the Massachusetts State Committee of the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve.

The award recognizes employers at the local level who have gone above and beyond the legal requirements of the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act.

The Worcester Police Department employs over 20 Officers and Officials who are current members of the Guard and Reserve, while also employing many veterans from all branches of the Armed Forces.
