Worcester Police Investigating Unattended Death of Woman at Salvation Army

Worcester Police are investigating the unattended death of a woman at the Salvation Army on Cambridge street.

The investigation is ongoing.

The Incident

On Monday, January 7 at about 9:48 a.m., Worcester Police were sent to the Salvation Army at 72 Cambridge St for a report of a possible deceased woman.

Upon arrival, officers located the woman, who was pronounced dead by paramedics on scene.

Because the death was unattended, the Crime Scene Unit and Detective Bureau were called to process the scene.

Preliminary autopsy reports are inconclusive as to the cause of death of the woman.
