Holy Cross hosts Dartmouth
The Holy Cross Crusaders football team will look to build off of last week’s win on Saturday when they host Dartmouth on Saturday.

The Crusaders are coming off a 31-28 OT win over defending Ivy League champion Yale to improve to 1-2 on the season.

Dartmouth comes in with a record of 1-0 after shutting out Georgetown 41-0 last week.

Game time is set for 1 p.m.

Holy Cross vs Dartmouth

Saturday’s game will be the 81st all-time meeting between the teams, with Dartmouth leading the series 39-37-4.

The Big Green has won three straight and five of the last seven games between the schools.

Holy Cross Offense

On the offensive side of the ball, the Crusaders have been led by senior quarterback Geoff Wade.

Wade has completed 23 of 38 passes for 269 yards and two touchdowns.

Junior running back Miles Alexander has rushed for 154 yards and a touchdown on 35 carries.

On the outside, receiver Blaise Bell has hauled in 13 passes for 123 yards so far this season.

Holy Cross Defense

On the defensive side of the ball, senior linebacker Ryan Brady leads the Crusaders with 40 tackles, two quarterback sacks and nine tackles for loss.

Brady currently ranks sixth in the nation in tackles and ninth in tackles for loss.

Sophomore defensive back Joe Lang has added 24 tackles and two quarterback sacks, while senior defensive back Corey Stefanik has 12 tackles, a quarterback sack, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery.
