Holy Cross visits Lafayette
The Holy Cross Crusaders football team will look to build off their most dominant performance of the season when they visit Lafayette on Saturday.

Last week, Holy Cross cruised past Lehigh 56-0 to improve to 2-6 on the seasoned 1-2 in the Patriot League.

Lafayette enters the game with a record of 3-5 overall and 2-2 in the Patriot League.

Game time is set for 12:30 p.m.

Saturday’s game will mark the 33rd all-time meeting between the two programs with Lafayette leading the all-time series 17-15.

In last year’s meeting, Lafayette edged Holy Cross 10-7.

Holy Cross Offense

The Crusaders offense is led by senior quarterback Geoff Wade, who has completed 100 of 165 passes for 1,144 yards and 11 touchdowns this season.

He has also rushed 75 times for 137 yards and a touchdown.

Junior running back Domenic Cozier has added team-high 554 rushing yards and five touchdowns on 98 carries, while wide receiver Martin Dorsey has hauled in 31 passes for 385 yards and five touchdowns.

Holy Cross Defense

On the defensive side of the ball, senior linebacker Ryan Brady leads the team with 88 tackles, two quarterback sacks and 11 tackles for loss.

He currently ranks seventh in the nation in total tackles.

Sophomore defensive back Joe Lang has added 57 tackles, two quarterback sacks and four pass breakups, while junior defensive back Alex Johnson has 46 tackles, one interception and two pass breakups.
