Justify was ridden by jockey Mike Smith and trained by Bob Baffert.
The team now turns their attention to a chance to win the Triple Crown.
The Preakness is set for May 19 and the Belmont Stakes is set for June 9
The race was the wettest Kentucky Derby in history, breaking the old make of 2.31” that was set in 1918.
Good Magic finished second while Audible finished third.
Cinco de Mayo Party at ComeKeto
Celebrate Cinco de Mayo at ComeKeto with food, drinks and live music from DJ Jemaine.
The party begins at 9 p.m.
Cinco de Mayo, Kentucky Derby at U.S. Marine Club
The party will begin with a taco bar starting at 2 p.m. with Kentucky Derby events starting at 6 p.m.
The party will feature sombrero competition, tequila, margarita and corona drink specials all day.
Lastly, the Brumbletones will be performing beginning at 9 p.m.

Enjoy Cinco de Mayo at Kasbar while listening to soul music from the Tony Soul Project.
The concert begins at 9 p.m. and goes until 1 a.m.
Kentucky Derby Viewing Party at Romaine’s
Romaine’s Wood Bar and Grill is hosting a Kentucky Derby viewing party in their bar area on Saturday.
The event will feature complimentary Southern Bites (Pimento Cheese Deviled Eggs, Shrimp & Grits and more!) as well as a variety of Mint Julep options. Ladies, wear your favorite hats—there will be a $100 prize for the best one in the room.
Cinco de Mayo Fiesta at The Thoreau Club
The party will feature Tacos, Burritos, Guacamole, Salsa, Margaritas, live music and much more.
The party will benefit Health Care Without Walls.
The event goes from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Mezcal Cantina will celebrate Cinco de Mayo with a DJ for 8:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. as well as plenty of food and drinks for everyone to enjoy.
Ixtapa Mexican Restaurant & Cantina
Ixtapa Mexican Restaurant & Cantina will have food and drink specials throughout the day.

The Alamo Restaurant Mexicano
The Alamo will celebrate their 20th Cinco de Mayo on Saturday.
They offer live music, tons of prizes and Margaritas the entire day.
The Vin Bin
The Vin Bin will be celebrating Cinco de Mayo and the Kentucky Derby from 11 a.m to 7 p.m. on Saturday.
The Vin Bin will be serving their house-made Sangria as well as plenty of other food and drink options.
Olde Magoun's Saloon Cinco de Derby Party
Olde Magoun’s Saloon will have food specials starting at 4 p.m. and going the entire night.
They will also be serving Kentucky Hot Brown Sandwiches and will have Founder’s KBS on draught.
