Paul Rabil, founder of Premier League Lacrosse to Open Inaugural Season at Gillette
The Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) announced that the first three games of its inaugural season will be played at Gillette Stadium.

“We are humbled and excited to begin this new era of lacrosse at Gillette Stadium. Gillette is a world-class venue with a history of hosting successful events like the NCAA Lacrosse Championships, and we’re excited to bring the Premier Lacrosse League to New England,” said Paul Rabil, PLL Chief Strategy Officer and Co-Founder.

The games will take place on Saturday, June 1 and Sunday, June 2.

Premier Lacrosse League

The PLL is a tour-based model featuring six teams and the 160 best players in the world.

In addition to being full-time employees and receiving health benefits, players will get equity stakes in the league.

The league signed an exclusive media-rights agreement with NBC, and the network added this week a third game on NBC flagship in addition to the 16 games on NBC Sports -- totaling 19 games on television over the league’s 14-weekend schedule.

All other games will be accessible live through NBCSports.com and the NBC Gold app.
