On the eve of becoming the 45th President of the United States, President-elect Donald Trump wished the New England Patriots good luck in Sunday's AFC Championship game against the Steelers.

The comments came during the candlelight dinner at Union Station in which Patriots owner Robert Kraft was in attendance.

"In the audience, we have somebody that's under no pressure whatsoever, because he's got a great quarterback named Tom Brady and a great coach named BillBelichick, Bob Kraft," Trump said.

Trump also went on to say that Brady called him earlier in the day to congratulate him.

Trump is set to be inaugurated on Friday, January 20, while the Patriots face the Steelers in the AFC Championship on Sunday, January 22 at Gillette Stadium.
